Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro certification confirms their model numbers

Oppo is launching the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro on October 16, and ahead of that they’ve both now been certified for sale in Thailand by NBTC. This process has resulted in their model numbers being confirmed: the ‘vanilla’ Find X9 is CPH2797, while the Find X9 Pro is CPH2791.

No other details have been outed this time around, but past rumors have claimed they would both be powered by MediaTek’s recently unveiled Dimensity 9500 SoC. The Find X9 should arrive with a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, “1.5K” resolution, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The Pro will get a very similar but larger 6.78″ screen.

Meanwhile, Oppo itself has confirmed that the Find X9 has a 7,025 mAh battery while the Pro goes up to 7,500 mAh. The former should weigh 203g and be 7.99 mm thick, the latter should weigh 224g and be 8.25 mm thick.

The Find X9 is rumored to sport a 50 MP main camera with OIS using Sony’s Lytia LYT-808 sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN9 sensor. Meanwhile, the Find X9 Pro should have the same ultrawide but a different 50 MP main camera using Sony’s Lytia LYT-828, and a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5.
